I write almost daily on A Parent in Silver Spring, my main squeeze. But I’m often unfaithful:
Here’s a link to a listing of my freelance With the Kids pieces for The Washington Post Weekend Section.
On Thursday nights at 7:50pm, I co-host A Family Affair with Tommy McFly on the DC’s #1 FM Radio Station. I provide listeners with fun, out-of-the-ordinary weekend activities and quirky humor.
According Facebook’s Networked Blogs, A Parent in Silver Spring is the #1 most-followed blog in the moms category, and is in the top 5 in the parenting and family verticals. Not too shabby for a local gal.
I Twitter, I have a couple thousand followers, I crack myself up and maybe a few others join me along the way.
Guy Kawasaki thinks my blog is one of the Alltop in Washington. Now I can die happy.
I write a twice-monthly column for DC Metro Moms Blog, a great group of women (and a couple men) writers. This is where I store the really mommy musing rants hopes and dreams stuff.
My goal is to keep A Parent in Silver Spring focused on community happenings and adhere to a journalistic integrity akin to mainstream print freelance writers. Therefore I post reviews and giveaways of books, kid gear and other stuff that I truly like and recommend to readers on my review site, A Parent in Silver Spring Reviews.
I’m a member of DC Blogs, a great site aggregator with editors that hand-pick (no ‘bots!) the day’s best blog posts in the DC area.

Nickelodeon’s Parents Connect & readers nominated A Parent in Silver Spring as Best Local Blog in Washington. I’d like to thank all the little children.
