No longer spending your Friday evenings shooting tequila at Tortilla Coast and flirting with inappropriate people? (OK, maybe that was just me.)
Do the words “happy hour” now indicate a quiet period around 3am as you work or fold laundry?

If you can relate, the Round House Theatre Education Center in Silver Spring is offering a free theatre class for ages pre-K to adult every Friday afternoon from 4-5pm until March 21st. Classes are taught by experienced Round House staff and professional actors. No registration is required. Just show up with the grumpy darlings.

The free for alls are a blast, foster creativity and confidence, and transform the end-of-the-day-witching-hour into a happy hour for everyone. You can also look into their other great classes for all ages.

Sorry, Round House staff will not follow you home and convince your kid to eat the dinner you cook. But by then it is 5pm, officially happy hour in the original sense of the phrase for those not driving nor gestating. Cheers!
