Now that it seems that spring has arrived in Silver Spring, I’m dreaming of summer. I eagerly anticipate Memorial Day when our pool will open and we’ll begin a season of meeting up with friends who we haven’t seen since Labor Day, morning swim lessons followed by picnic lunches, and afternoon pool playdates with Armand’s and Domino’s delivering dinner poolside. In the meantime, Little Miss Techie has been taking some swim lessons at Martin Luther King, Jr. pool. Captain Computer, who needs no introduction to water, just started AquaTots a couple weeks ago. We are taking full advantage of recreation swim times as often as possible to make sure we are pool ready come Memorial Day weekend.

Recreational swim sessions for the entire family are available daily at each Montgomery County Pool. There are various options for paying for recreational swim sessions. You can pay as you go, purchase a family pass, or pre-pay for 10 admissions and get 2 free.
