Pirate Adventure on the Chesapeake, in Annapolis

pirate adventure

One of the most fun adventures we have had as a family has been taking the Pirate Adventure on the Chesapeake in Annapolis, and we can’t wait to sail the seas again! Designed specifically with young children and families in mind, this is such a cool way to spend an hour on the water while fulfilling your little swashbucklers’ dreams.

The Pirate Crew and Captain are energetic, young college-aged kids that really get into the whole “shiver me timbers” and “walk the plank, matey” thing. They help the kids dress like pirates, engage the kids in a treasure hunt, tell them a pirate yarn and teach them to shoot water cannons at Pirate Pete, the “bad pirate.” (The crew staff told us that they draw straws to determine which one will don the wetsuit and row out in a rowboat to be doused by water cannons and fall in the Bay.)
