Kirsten says that DillyDally was born when she and her family – husband Jeff, kids Olivia, 4, and Sullivan, 8 months old – ” were slowly but surely going green in little ways, buying organic when we could, swapping out lightbulbs, recycling, you know, the basics.” Her son was born amongst all the recent recalls and Kirsten’s reading of the studies on the benefits of organic children’s products. Kirsten says, “One day I was in BuyBuy Baby and saw an organic cotton t-shirt for $40. I thought, geesh, that’s crazy! I bet I can design some cute stuff for half the price.”

A graphic designer by trade and creative mom by nature, that’s exactly what she did.
