Starting this Friday morning August 22, The Pajama Squid’s children’s store in Takoma Park will host storytimes every Friday from 10:30-11am.

Owner Tiffany King has lined up a slew of volunteer readers and selected children’s books sure to entertain and delight. The target age for the weekly event is three-five years, but all ages are welcome.

My kids and I are so excited to attend and we have been saving our quarters to indulge in the classic candy that Tiffany stocks for an end-of-week treat. I’m also enthused about the innovative picture books and toys and new clothes for fall that are in the store since our last visit this summer, which are sure to make me feel like the proverbial kid in the candy store.
