In the midst of tragedy, something good has happened for friend and dynamic hair stylist Jillian Behram: The Washingtonian has named her the featured family-friendly stylist in the September annual round-up of the best hairdressers in the area.

We at APISS know that she is amazing, and it is a welcome time for Jillian to have her hard work and skill recognized in the region’s #1 lifestyle magazine and website.

Family-Friendly Stylist

Jillian Behram, Headlines Hair Design, 8740 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring; Jillian Behram has developed a following among moms. After our September 2008 issue went to press, Behram took a new job at Headlines. A young mother herself, she works Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. She doesn’t have just women for clients; she often styles their husbands’ and kids’ hair, too.

Please also note that Jillian has changed salons to Headlines Hair Design in downtown Silver Spring, just around the corner from her previous location. She is available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for appointments. Call Headlines at 301-587-5040 to make your hair appointment and be prepared to get gorgeous.

Jillian sends a huge thank you to the readers of this website for the enormous love and support you have shown her and Demitry. Please continue to keep her and her little guy in your prayers. The meals, donations and the new client bookings have been a great help and source of strength to her. Pilates, step, yoga, spinning, interval training and more will be offered by some of the area’s top trainers and instructors, and all proceeds benefit Jillian and Demitry. Hats off to the awesome Rachel Posell, DC’s trainer and bootcamp leader extraordinaire, for organizing this fun and important fundraiser.
