10am-12pm Pumpkin Carving Contest & Fun at the Long Branch Community Center
Free admission but bring your own pumpkin, carving tools will be provided. There will be spooky music, candy, crafts, face painting and prizes for a variety of pumpkin categories. Fun!
8pm The Bach Sinfonia presents The Genius of Haydn at Woodside UMC, Downtown Silver Spring
A festive program of music exploring a wide range of works by Haydn. Program includes early and later symphonies, as well as the unique opportunity to hear the famed Trumpet Concerto, featuring Washington native, Stanley Curtis, performing the the rarely heard keyed trumpet. Tickets $15-28, youth under 15 FREE.
SUNDAY
5:30pm Irish Music for Children at the Royal Mile Pub, at 7pm the Adult Ensemble begins which is enjoyable for the entire family too. Get a break from cooking dinner and grab a Guinness.
