Here are the deets on the Thanksgiving Parade in downtown Silver Spring on Saturday.

Last year my kids and I bundled up, brought thermoses of hot cocoa and had a wonderful time. It was non-stop fun, good music, great floats, lots of thrown candy and favors. My son caught a toy baseball from The Nationals and my daughter blew kisses to the beauty queens. The biggest celebrity of the day was a tie between seeing their friend Caroline marching with her Brownie troop and Santa Claus at the parade’s end.

The line up is even bigger this year!
