School open houses haven’t ended, they’re just getting warmed up!

Actually, many Montgomery County Public Schools begin their open houses in February. Need to find your child’s assigned public school? Enter your address at the school locator here, and then click on the links provided. The public schools should have their open houses on their websites, or call the numbers provided for dates and times.

Due to the difficult January weather, many schools are scheduling extra open house sessions for the coming month. St. John the Evangelist School on 10201 Woodland Drive in Silver Spring will be having another Open House on Thursday, February 5, 8:30-11am. The preschool (for three year olds turning 4 and 4 year olds turning 5) and the K-8 school will both be available for observation and tours. And if you visited before, this is a super chance to take a second look and to observe the classes in action. More info here.
