The Maryland Department of Disabilities will soon be given approximately 200 tickets for the White House Easter Egg Roll to be held on April 13, 2009. The tickets are for children with disabilities under age 10.
Tickets will most likely be for the morning hours, and you may need to arrive as early as 7 am. This event is for children with and without disabilities and typically draws a large crowd. A parent and siblings under age 10 may also accompany each child with a disability.
If you want tickets, please send the names of everyone in your party, and indicate by each name the person’s category, i.e., child with disability, sibling, or adult to Yesheva Kelly firstname.lastname@example.org by the close of business, Wednesday, April 1st.
Tickets are available on a first come, first-served basis. You will be notified when the tickets arrive. They will be available for pick up only at the MDOD office, 217 East Redwood Street, Baltimore, 21202. If you have any questions, please call 410-767-3660.
