Meadowside Nature Center Easter Egg Hunt

April 10, 2009, 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Search for Easter Eggs through meadows and woods. Then decorate the eggs and visit with a rabbit and learn some bunny facts. Bring your own basket. Admission: $5 per child. Reservations are required.

Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Bethesda Easter Egg Hunt & Festival
Saturday April 11 rain or shine 10-11:30am at 5500 Massachusetts Avenue, Bethesda MD 20816. Everyone is welcome at this super egg hunt party. They’ll have at least 2 egg hunts for the children, face painting, arts and crafts, games, refreshments, and door prizes. The kids have a blast!

Bring your dog to The Posh Pooch for a dog-gone good time. Watch your dog sniff out treat-filled Easter eggs and socialize with other 4-legged friends in the park. Fun for the entire family and a great cause. The Posh Pooch is giving away prizes for the most eggs collected — and the Easter Bunny will be there too. Advance registration required. African American Family Day at the National Zoo – Egg Hunts & Lots More
Monday April 13th, 10am-4pm, rain or shine. Full schedule here. The free festival will feature multicultural and seasonal fun for all ages, like African American storytelling, an Easter egg roll and hunt and crafts for the kids. There will also be first-rate live entertainment like a cappella gospel singers, steel drummers, reggae bands and dance troupes. The Pathways to Freedom—The Peace Quilt that honors of the life and work of civil rights activist Rosa Parks will be specially displayed as well. Of course all the animals will be there too, check out the animal programs. The event is in celebration of African American families, and ALL families are heartily encouraged to attend.
