Rebecca Best Hill aka Becky of Elvis, Corgis & Me is not only a hilarious writer and amazing mom, she’s one of the top APISS tipsters. She and her sister Tammy are both parents in Silver Spring and these gals are experts on what to do with kids in the area in a way I can’t touch.

These sisters have the 411 on the best classes and camps in the area for boys athletic or artistic (Becky) and girls imaginative or feisty (Tammy), take the coolest weekend trips with their families, Tammy showed me the ropes when I was a dazed new mom without a clue…they’re my idols.

Here are the DC-area theaters participating in the Regal Cinema Free Family Film Festival, offering free kids’ matinees this summer. On Tuesdays and Wednesday at 10am June 23 – August 19, both a G and a PG movie will be shown both days FREE to kids, first come, first served.

I will list the Silver Spring showtimes in the APISS calendar, but if you live in other suburbs of DC, see below for your closest local theater. If you live an hour or more outside DC or elsewhere in the country, click here to find your nearest participating Regal Cinema.
