What are you doing next Saturday morning June 6th? Want to come on down to my ‘hood for a free screening of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movie’s latest kid’s film, IMAGINE THAT with Eddie Murphy?
The parent-loving promoters have given me free tickets for 25 parent/child pairs to distribute to readers to see the film at 10:30am Saturday morning at the Regal Majestic in Downtown Silver Spring. You and your child will get to see the show one week before the rest of the country…for free baby!
Here’s the official trailer for the PG-rated flick:
Official synopsis: In Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies’ family comedy Imagine That, Eddie Murphy stars as a successful financial executive who has more time for his BlackBerry than his seven-year-old daughter (Yara Shahidi). But when he has a crisis of confidence and his career starts going down the drain, he finds the solution to all his problems in his daughter’s imaginary world.
If you’d like to attend the screening, here’s what you do:
- Check your family calendar and see if you and your child are free on Saturday morning June 6 at 9:45am-12pm. The movie starts at 10:30am but these events sometimes get overbooked so you’ll need to be in line at 9:45 and the film won’t be over until noonish.
- Remember, if you accept tickets but then bail that’s two spots that another family could have used…don’t apiss me off! (Sorry, I’ve been waiting for over a year to use that pun.)
- I’ll give 1 pair of tickets per family to be fair. (If you have twins in the target age group, OK, you can have two pairs.)
- If your schedule is clear, leave a comment below. Be sure to leave your email address in the comment form so I can contact you if you win.
- The first 25 commenters get the tickets. However sometimes people leave two comments or people that can’t attend type me sweet little nothings or someone wins tickets and then apisses me off and bails, so even if there are already 30 comments, leave another one!
Imagine That opens nationwide on June 12!
