Normally I just go to Random.org and put the number of comments & emails received into the random integer generator and the computer spits out random numbers. Each comment becomes a number (if someone comments twice then she’s only counted once and her second comment is skipped), emails become numbers too at the end of the count and I just post the winners’ names.

And I just ask you all to trust me that it’s truly all randomly handled, no rigging or other funny business. Just like in “real” contests, I don’t allow any one related to me to enter.

But this Walking With Dinosaurs drawing was serious business! After just a few days, I received over 80 comments and emails. So I thought I’d post the proof of the randomness of the drawing and the process.
