
At Disney on Ice last night we saw the most adorable woman in the world,
Princess Tiana from the upcoming movie The Princess and the Frog.
In addition to Boo at the Zoo, the Waterfront Fall Festival, the free screening of the new Tinker Bell movie and Disney on Ice, there’s lots going on this weekend.

Patuxent Wildlife Festival

This great National Wildlife Center will have live animals close-up, children’s activities and behind-the-scenes research tours of the USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center. Refuge habitat tram tours and refreshments will be available courtesy of Friends of Patuxent. The National Wildlife Visitor Center is located off of Powder Mill Rd. between the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and Rt. 197 south of Laurel.

At the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center of the National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, VA there’ll be trick-or-treating, hands-on activities, face painting, costumed Star Wars characters and much more. Make sure your kids wear their costumes for the grand costume parade!

Silver Spring Zombie Walk
Pre-walk party at the Quarry House Tavern, 8401 Georgia Ave. begins at 8 p.m., Walk departs at 9:30 p.m. from the corner of Georgia Ave. and Bonifant St. The event concludes at the AFI Silver Theatre, 8633 Colesville Rd., for a special screening of Shaun of the Dead. Full deets here.
