Kids Euro Festival

Tree Boy at the Olney Theatre
This enviro-family-friendly performance is part of The Olney Theatre’s Family Entertainment Series and it’s about a 10 year old’s activism for love of his backyard tree. This Saturday and Sunday get tickets for just $5 (they’re normally $16) using coupon code TEE005.

Forest Knolls Girl Scouts Pumpkin Sale, Moonbounce & Craft Sale
Come on over to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church at 818 University Blvd West in Silver Spring from 10am-3pm and pick up your perfect jack-o-latern-to-be. Avoid the muddy patches but still get to hold a wholesome family pumpkin carving bonanza this weekend!

Washington National Opera Family Look-In
This Saturday 3pm special performance at the Kennedy Center is a great opportunity for kids to be introduced to opera, specifically Verdi’s Falstaff. The one hour performance will have full staging, costumes, and orchestra, sung in Italian with English supertitles. Dynamite Gymnastics Center Open House
From 10:30am to 6pm this Sunday in Rockville, tour this brand-new 15,0000 square foot gymnastics facility and play on the equipment. There’s an area especially for pre-school children, a large inflatable moonbounce, watch demonstrations by the competitive Team kids, chow down on hot dogs and popcorn and enter a drawing to win a free birthday party.
