‘Tis the season…for preschool and private school open houses!

There’s so many for us all to keep track of, so I hope this feature will help you guys out:

The APISS School Open House Calendar

This calendar is dedicated to all of the area’s open houses that I find through my research or receive notice of via email, and it will be located on the left-hand sidebar of A Parent in Silver Spring, directly below the daily events calendar. 

It’s not completely inclusive of EVERY school open house (this is a one woman operation after all,) but if you send me your school’s open house or have a sign posted outside your facility and I drive past it, your event will appear here. 

Most public schools offer their open houses in the later spring and I’ll try and post info on those too once they start.  Those elusive language immersion programs?  Special ed parent support and info sessions?  Financial aid information nights for privates?  I’ll try and post those too.  I’ll also post camp fairs and other events that provide resources on places to corral kids sans parents in this separate calendar as well.

And every week or so, I’ll also post a round-up on the blog of the open houses that are coming up.
