I had the sheer pleasure of providing a good deal of the content for today’s Washington Post Weekend section’s focus on fine arts for kids in the DC area.
From the cover story on the Maryland Science Center’s Da Vinci: The Genius exhibit, to a piece on the free tickets for kids to the National Philharmonic in residence at Strathmore, I had a ball researching these awesome activities for kids. (And I’m sure my editors had a ball editing my filings into submission – thank you all!)
Moira E. McLaughlin also provided great pieces on the workshops for kids at the Corcoran and an upcoming live introduction to Beethoven at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
I hope you enjoy…and can use the info this winter for cool cultural activities to share with your kids.
