Here are two fun local events to promote the hilarious book of essays by busy moms like us, See Mom Run.
I’m currently in the middle of this collection, and though I NEVER use the acronym LOL, I have to admit I have vocalized my amusement with these witty women’s writings whilst reading. With essay titles like Do You Know the Muffin Top and The Tooth Fairy, The Torah, and Me, and authors like editor/contributor Beth Feldman and crackup queen Crafty Mama Abby Pecoriello, are you surprised?
Tonight’s the MNO (moms night out) event and Friday is the mom and kiddo playdate party at Be With Me – A Children’s Playseum that I totally dig in Bethesda. Both events will have door prizes like big food and gift baskets from GIANT and Swiffer Wet Jets (hey, at least it’s not your husband giving you a housecleaning item for the holidays, right?)
