When the bell rings for Spring Break in the DC area, that doesn’t mean that working parents get the week off too.  Luckily, there are great camp options for the week, like the On Stage Mini-Camp for kids age 5-8 offered by the Takoma Park Department of Recreation.

The camp centers on theatre building blocks like character development, improv, drama games, songs, building characters, choreographing musical numbers, stage make-up, set and costume design.  The week’s material will be storybook theatre and two musical numbers from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and of course, what would a camp be without a revue show on the last day?
