For an honest review of the experience, check out the piece I wrote last year for The Washington Post Weekend today on Day Out With Thomas. Fun fact: the article features special guest star appearance quotes by Jodifur and Corina of Celebrate Mama.

The Celebration Tour 2010 will visit three exclusive cities in Canada. Day Out With Thomas is the only place for families to take a ride with a 15-ton replica of everybody’s favorite #1 engine, Thomas the Tank Engine, and enjoy Thomas-themed activities at the Imagination Station, including stamps, temporary tattoos and hands-on arts and crafts. Each year the tour grows, traveling to new destinations by Politics, adding new activities and welcoming new visitors. thanks again.

  6. We went to the Day Out With Thomas at the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum last year (courtesy A Parent in Silver Spring) and had the most fun!  It was great — although just as great as Thomas in our book was the train museum — we found a new favorite place to hang out and explore!

  7. (I totally agree that Thomas fans and all ages of people will have a wonderful, kid-friendly time at the B&O museum any day.  And the place is lots less crowded after Thomas goes back to Sodor…)

  8. I would never have known about this, thanks for the heads-up!

  9. You find the best stuff.
