$1 Summer Movies at AMC Theaters Summer 2010

AMC Summer MovieCamp offers kids’ movies for just $1 admission at 10 am on Tuesday mornings June 15 through August 10.  The $1 admission and concession proceeds (the snack bar is 30% off for these shows) will benefit two AMC charities, Variety – The Children’s Charity and the Will Rogers Institute.

The Summer MovieCamp films are nearly-new flicks like Madagascar 2, Kung Fun Panda, Monsters vs. Aliens and more kid faves.

You can purchase your tickets for the first show on June 15 in advance starting tomorrow, June 8. Tickets for each week are on sale approximately one week ahead. On the day of the show, doors open at 9:30 a.m. and shows will begin at 10 a.m. local time nationwide.

    This is so wonderful to know about. I always hesitate to take my three kids to the movies because: 1) it can get so expensive and 2) my two-year-old almost never makes it through the entire movie. Now I won’t mind taking my 9-year-old and 6-year-old, and I know that they’ll love these movies.
