GIVEAWAY: Mars Needs Moms Free Movie Screening and After Party with Ice Skating!

UPDATE: All movie and skating party winners have been randomly-drawn and contacted. Check your email!

Would you like to see the new movie Mars Needs Moms before it is released AND attend an exclusive, free ice skating party after the screening with your family?

Because I have 25 family-four packs of tickets to this fabulous movie and ice skating party combo! And where is the party and movie fun happening? Right here in Silver Spring baby!

First, here’s the movie synapsis:

Produced by the team behind “Disney’s A Christmas Carol” and “The Polar Express,” “Mars Needs Moms” showcases nine-year-old Milo’s  (Seth Green) quest to save his mom (Joan Cusack) from Martians—a wild adventure in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D that involves stowing away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader (Mindy Sterling).

Check out the trailer here!

Now, here are the details that you need to understand BEFORE you enter and comment and commit!

  • The fun happens on Saturday March 5th in Downtown Silver Spring. The movie starts at 10:30am at the Regal Magestic Silver Spring (be in line way earlier than that to guarantee your seats!).
  • Then you’ll head to the Silver Spring Ice Skating Rink next door for a “Space Skate” which will include complimentary rink time and skate rentals from 12-2pm. The event will be hosted by Carson from Mix 107.3.

And here’s how to enter!

  • Make sure you’re available on Saturday March 5th from 9:30am-2pm-ish.
  • Make sure you do not have more than 4 people in your party (all winners only get 4 tickets for the movie and skating party, sorry!).
  • Leave a comment that includes your email address.
  • I’ll be randomly-drawing the 25 winning families on Sunday night February 27 at 9pm and then contacting the winners via email.
  • Only one entry per household.  No multiple email addresses or both Mom AND Dad entering, ‘k?
  • You must have at least one child in attendance to win daytime screening tickets from A Parent in Silver Spring. Sorry to be ageist, but I’m starting to receive entries for one adult name for guest lists. This creeps me out. My site, my rules. Until you have to pay for a little someone’s future college tuition, you can buy your own $8 movie ticket and you will not be drawn.

So leave a comment with your email and check your in-box after 9pm on Sunday night for an email from me if you’re a win-na!
