DC Teen Musical Theatre Program: ATMTC Academy!

ATMTC Academy provides comprehensive musical theatre training for students’ grades 5–12. These leveled programs meet students where they are, help to take them where they want to go in the performing arts. Whether working for a role in a musical, advanced training, or just building their experiences in the performing arts, ATMTC has the program that fits your child’s interest and schedule.

Classes begin the week of September 15th.

Pre-Conservatory (Grades 5-8)

The Pre-Conservatory Program’s introductory technique-based training and musical theatre repertoire will use your child’s energy and enthusiasm for the theatrical arts to introduce, engage, and inspire. The curriculum builds on and expands from elementary classes and camps toward the full Conservatory program. This is a 3-hour program meets weekly on your choice of Tuesday or Thursday at ATMTC Academy in Rockville, MD.

Conservatory (Grades 6-12)

ATMTC’s Conservatory is an integrated 6-hour weekly musical theatre training program that accepts students at all levels of experience. Its curriculumn delivers focused technique-based training in the four basic disciplines of musical theatre performance: acting, ballet, jazz, and vocal music. Whether exploring a new avenue for fun or seeking to improve skills for your next role on stage, ATMTC is the key to your child’s stage success. This class meets on your choice of Tuesday/Thursday evenings (3 hours each evening) or Sundays only from 12-6pm.

Pre-Professional Program (Grades 6-12)

Final audition date is coming up! For the serious student, the Pre-Professional Program prepares committed and gifted students in grades 6–12 for college and/or a professional career in the performing arts, led by a highly qualified faculty. The Pre-Professional Program curriculum provides students with inclusive training in Acting, Music, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Voice & Speech, and Performance.
