Meet the artists at a free reception on July 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. Featured in this exhibit are Kesra Hoffman, Linda Van Hart, Thomas Sterner, Andrea McClusky, Harriet Wise, Lisa Sheirer, Lisa Tyerle, Karin Birch, Wanda Remington, Richard Schellenberg, Cleo Dunsmore Buchanan, and Pamela Hall.Founded in 2015, NOMA Gallery is a co-op fine art gallery showcasing contemporary and traditional art in a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, fiber arts, mixed media, glass and jewelry. Its mission is to promote excellence in the visual arts in many different disciplines.The exhibit will be up from June 30 to August 27, 2017, at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park, 506 South Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland. Gaithersburg’s Arts on the Green presents “Countryside Artisans Create,” an exhibit featuring works by members of the Countryside Artisans of Maryland group, from July 14 through September 1, 2017, at Kentlands Mansion. The public is invited to meet the artists during a free Artists Reception on Thursday, July 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.The exhibit features the artwork of Bev Thoms, Brenda Kidera, Claire Howard, Cynthia Jennings, Dalis Davidson, Jennifer Hamilton, Kristen Morrison, Lori Baker, Michael Holdahl, Orlando Morales, Penny McCrea, Susan Due Pearcy, and Tina Thieme Brown.The Countryside Artisans of Maryland represents a select group of accomplished visual, sculptural and textile artists working in oil, pastel, watercolor, pencil, ceramics, porcelain, glass, enamel, stone, wood, yarn, textiles, photography, tea, hops, and grapes. The artisans jointly open their galleries and studios, located in historic, rural Montgomery, Howard and Frederick Counties, for three art tours each year in April, October and December.Located at 320 Kent Square Road, the Mansion Gallery offers the opportunity to view art in the beautiful, timeless setting of historic Kentlands Mansion. The variety of fruits and vegetables changes weekly as different crops reach maturity.The Fulks Corner Farmers Market will be open Thursdays, May 4 through November 16, 2017, from 12:30 to 6 p.m. You’ll find it at the corner of Route 355 and Fulks Corner Avenue in Olde Towne. There are no crafters at this market. Available products include a wide assortment of fruits and vegetables, jams and jellies, herbs, flowers and plants, honey, cider, fruit butters, baked goods, and a variety of meat.The market accepts WIC, FVC and FMNP checks. Scenic View Orchards at Fulks Corner Market in Olde Towne also accepts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) funds to purchase fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Little Movers classes are designed to emphasize creativity and introduce technique to dancers ages 3-7. Developed by Lorraine Spiegler, CityDance School & Conservatory Artistic Director & dance educator for 25 + years, classes are rooted
in a fundamental understanding of children's basic developmental phases. All Little Movers get the chance to dance in a culminating concert on the grand Music Center at Strathmore Concert Hall stage.

Gaithersburg’s Arts on the Green presents “Countryside Artisans Create,” an exhibit featuring works by members of the Countryside Artisans of Maryland group, from July 14 through September 1, 2017, at Kentlands Mansion. The public is invited to meet the artists during a free Artists Reception on Thursday, July 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.The exhibit features the artwork of Bev Thoms, Brenda Kidera, Claire Howard, Cynthia Jennings, Dalis Davidson, Jennifer Hamilton, Kristen Morrison, Lori Baker, Michael Holdahl, Orlando Morales, Penny McCrea, Susan Due Pearcy, and Tina Thieme Brown.The Countryside Artisans of Maryland represents a select group of accomplished visual, sculptural and textile artists working in oil, pastel, watercolor, pencil, ceramics, porcelain, glass, enamel, stone, wood, yarn, textiles, photography, tea, hops, and grapes. CityDance invites you to a Little Movers Open House, 8/26 at the CityDance School and Conservatory @ Rockville, MD, to meet teachers and sample dance classes.
Little Movers classes are designed to emphasize creativity and introduce technique to dancers ages 3-7. Developed by Lorraine Spiegler, CityDance School & Conservatory Artistic Director & dance educator for 25 + years, classes are rooted
in a fundamental understanding of children's basic developmental phases. All Little Movers get the chance to dance in a culminating concert on the grand Music Center at Strathmore Concert Hall stage.

theBridge at Levine is a musical theatre production program for learners of all ages. The first creative collective of its kind in our region, theBridge at Levine will stage one full-scale musical theatre production each season, while working in collaboration with many of our area's leading theater organizations, including Ford's Theatre, Signature Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in a diverse range of disciplines.Join us this season for our production of Ragtime, which will be performed at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater.The Pre-Professional Program is a full-year, comprehensive training program that will stage three productions at various theatres in the DC area. The first intensive program of this caliber in the DC metro area, Pre-Professional is designed to provide high school students with exceptional musical theatre training opportunities. The Year-Long Production is a conservatory-style, audition-only program running from September to June. In addition to learning, rehearsing and performing the production, students will participate in multi-week masterclasses by Nick Blaemire and Cate Caplin, as well as masterclasses by local theatre artists, group course work, and private vocal and acting coaching. Students enrolling in the program should expect to be challenged and must remain committed to developing skills in all areas of musical theatre for the duration of the program.Open to current 7th through 12th graders.
