One Gold Coin - Una moneda de oro
by Lenore Blank Kelner
Performed by InterAct Story Theatre

For the series finale in February, InterAct Story Theatre presents our warm and funny bilingual play, “One Gold Coin — Una moneda de oro”. Inspired by a Latin American story, the play tells the story of what happens when a healer comes to a poor village with a mysterious gold coin. Everyone wants to get their hands on that coin coin, but there’s a catch — it can only be given to someone who truly needs it.  The coin passes through the hands of many endearing characters, transforming their lives and their hearts. This uplifting tale celebrates the spirit of giving and the power of kindness. The play is performed by two actors with the help of the entire audience, who become part of the village community right from where they sit.

NOTE: The snow date for this performance is Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00am.
