A Parent in Silver Spring on TV: Montgomery County Media

Last week Montgomery County Media’s Sonya Burke came over to our house with a camera crew and filmed a Montgomery Channel On Location segment about A Parent in Silver Spring, blogging and my goals for a website that helps local parents.

The kids were out of school and on hand to participate in the fun.

This interview will also be featured on Montgomery County Media’s public access channels Channel 21 and Channel 6. I am completely honored that MCM chose to feature me and my site on their great website and channel, and I am also honored to be featured on MCM’s local blogger page.

I heartily support MCM’s mission and vision to provide Montgomery County residents with information, education, a forum for free expression and means to connect with their community. Check out the great content on the MCM website, as well as a wealth of on-demand programming!

Many thanks to Sonya Burke and her team for deeming my blog and work television-worthy.

That slightly dazed look on my face in the video above is that of a work-from-home mom of three who is still figuring out the summer swim team/work/play/childcare routine with the big kids out of school, and is a bit nervous to have a camera crew in the house while she is so discombobulated!

How are you guys faring with your own summer routines and balance?
